Lower Interest Rates

There has never been a better time than now to become a home owner. Interest rates are at levels not seen since the 1960's (see the historical graph of interest rates below). Builders and contractors are seeking new projects and labor is readily available. With the housing market in a "down trodden" state of affairs, almost all aspects of home ownership become more affordable.

When you decide to pursue home ownership, why settle for something that is sitting out there on the market? Why not decide what you want in a home, from the ground up? Wouldn't you like to specify all the details involved in your new home? If this is something you are going to invest in and spend many thousands of dollars, why not get it right the first time?
