Contractors in North Georgia

Question
We are looking to build a home in North Georgia and some contractors in the area said they could build our home.  Is there anything we need to be aware of?

Great question, Franny.  I recommend looking into each of the contractor's background. Most home builders have testimonials or at least a photo gallery that you can view so you can get a better idea of the type of work they do.  We have learned that a lot of contractors in North Georgia will often times sell you on something they are not too comfortable doing.  This can lead to major problems down the road for you both emotionally and financially. 

Be sure to ask a lot of questions, ask to see a list of references and learn how much experience they have had in the past constructing new homes.
